DISHWASHER PROBLEMS

CONSTANT/LOUD NOISES

Repairmen are experienced in fixing dishwasher malfunctions that can lead to loud noises to come out of the appliance. The reason for the noises is a broken pump housing, washer arm bearing or motor bushing. Since these are common malfunctions, you can count on us to fix them right away!

WATER LEAKING

There are primarily two reasons a dishwasher will leak water. The most common reason is there’s a problem with the door latch or closure and the part will need to be replaced. The second issue is a failed water inlet valve that can be repaired right after our arrival to your home. We have the manufacturer replacement parts to repair Whirlpool, GE, LG and common brands of dishwashers.

DOESN’T TURN ON

First, if a dishwasher does not turn on, you confirm the dishwasher is plugged in and that none of the circuit breakers tripped. If this isn’t the problem, then the problem might be related to the door latch switches, thermal fuses, electronic controls or motor relays.

DOESN’T DRAIN/FILL

A dishwasher should fill up with water and drain water after the dishes are clean. Your dishwasher won’t fill if there is a broken door switch or float switch or broken water inlet valve. Your dishwasher will not drain when there is a broken drain pump motor or drain hose on the unit.

WON’T WASH DISHES

Your dishwasher isn’t of much use if the dishes are dirty following a cycle. The dishes could still be dirty when there is a broken housing gasket, filter or water tube or spray arm. We have replacement parts available to fix dishwasher issues right away.

DOESN’T DRY DISHES

The reasons to own a dishwasher is for it to wash and dry dishes. You don’t want to hand dry dishes after a cycle. A dishwasher doesn’t dry if there’s a broken heating element, rinse aid dispenser or thermostat. We are able to repair or replace manufacturer parts related to the drying functions of all brands and types of dishwashers.

DOESN’T DISPENSE DETERGENT

For your dishwasher to be able to wash dishes, it needs to be able to dispense detergent or soap within the appliance. This does not happen when there is a broken bi-metal release, timer or wax motor.
